“MUM + DAD”:
dua got this on her left elbow as a tribute to her parents for their unwavering support in her journey to world superstardom

TWO PEOPLE DANCING ON TWO THUMBS:
dua got this done in 2015, whilst on set for the filming of her debut single, New Love

BARBED WIRE HEART:
this was done in 2018 in LA - it’s on her left arm

PATIENCE:
this was tatted on her left hand a few months before the release of her debut album in June 2017, standing as a permanent reminder to stay grounded and patient

STARBURST:
inked on the middle finger of her right hand, inked on her by Amy Louise, the wife of her drummer William

ANGEL:
another early tattoo, on her right shoulder

PALM TREE:
on her left arm, reminding her of LA which she loves dearly, as shown by the tattoo!

EYE:
done by amy louise again! in dua’s kitchen

“R AND G”
a tribute to her younger siblings, rina and gjin, who she loves to pieces

SUNNY HILL:
reminds her of Kosovo, a place that will always be home to her
