The way I see it, Chip Ganassi had two choices: Let all his sponsors leave the 42 and essentially bankrupt his NASCAR team, or, the very difficult decision he had to make in releasing Larson. There has been no joy in any of this for anyone.

And this may not be well received at this time, and I don't know why @KyleLarsonRacin used that word or has it in his vocab. But I've known him since he was 19. I know his parents, his wife, his sister, his kids. I do not believe he is racist.
