I grew up in the four story units in Raiwai in the 80s&90s.Our immediate neighbour was the only lady of Indian descent in the entire block at the time.Everyone called her Nani or Bhaini.I remember walking into her flat as a child just to sit and talanoa or go through her many
sewing magazines. She was also our block's http://tailor.My  dad used to just buy the flour and curry stuff and she would make everything and we would share it.She just had to get off the bus and all the kids would race to her and carry her shopping up. She scolded us when
we were naughty and nobody dared talk http://back.My  parents left me with her when they would go somewhere and i would even go crying to her when i would get a hiding😂 She made sweets for all the kids during Diwali and we looked forward to it every year.
I remember hiding my moneybox behind her refrigerator all year and her also helping me fill it up😂. I'm getting carried away but i dreamt of her last night. Simpler times. That was more than 20years ago and she passed shortly after we moved away.
Thankful for people who come into our lives for a season❣ Also, quit hating on people just because they're of a different ethnicity or religion or whatever. Thats the mtherfkin toxic trait to fk off!
