What a breathtaking (-stealing? -absconding? -obliterating??) episode of #BetterCallSaul last night. I am, frankly, still unrecovered. But just in case you’re interested, I wanted to shakily offer just a few little behind-the-scenes tiddy-bits.

I worked on the 1st shooting day of episode 509, so when I tweeted this last week it was based solely on the fact that everyone I encountered on set looked and talked like they’d just been through a war. Now I know why. Jeebus. https://twitter.com/sosayspeter/status/1247257750356267011

When I look back on my career (from a cozy subterranean desert cave in the wastelands of Old America), I will shake my head and softly smile at my great good fortune of having once worked with #TomSchnauz, one of the all-time greats. Truly a phenomenal writer and director.

This is Kate Cook who plays an assistant to (the fantastic) ADA Khalil. She’s an incredible actress and actually went to graduate school with my wife. She was meeting my daughter & hanging with my wife at home while I was filming my scene.

They filmed the Mike/Jimmy “one day you’re gonna wake up” scene on the same day as me. I met Jonathan Banks for the 1st time when I was going into the makeup/hair trailer and he was coming out. It was, as you might expect, a dream come true.

Not a BTS bit, just want to say as a fan that I looooved the callback to last season’s “Something Stupid” in last night’s killer teaser.

Speaking of the makeup/hair trailer—what happens in there is nothing less than MAGIC. Those artists are incredible and should be bowed down to everywhere they go. I mean come on look at this holy crap

Before this devolves even further, last thoughts:

-Kim is a gd juggernaut and my favorite character on tv

- #TonyDalton is mesmerizing as Lalo, and really f’n scary

-the photography is SOOOO good, alwaysalwaysalways

-Bob does SO MUCH by doing SO LITTLE

-my cat’s the best
