From what I have seen of the numbers (and understanding we have extremely unreliable models and limited local data), the 'leaky lockdown' that IK and Pakistan are using seems to be working.

I'm in favor of this approach because:
1. Our CFR, mortality rate, and overall infection rate is still acceptable (whether or not secondary to lockdown or extremely effective mandatory quarantine of overseas travelers by IK government or something else is irrelevant at this time).
2. No. of new infections & need for vent. dependence seems to be limited (new infections in last 24 hrs 121/total 3157 tests done on suspected cases. I cannot find ANY corroboration of Dawn numbers reported yesterday (367 patients on the vent). I don't think that no is accurate.
Fact is not a single epidemiologist or scientist in the world can explain what is happening in different parts of the world. There is simply neither precedent nor pertinent detailed science.
I think IK government has done a good job at this time overall by maintaining composure & deciding on a middle-ground. I believe they're doing the right thing for Pak with extension of a porous, limited lockdown, but I confess this is more gut now than science-based observation.
