A company’s interview process is part of its culture: think of it as part of your “public API” 🙂

Not every org can run multiple, diverse rounds, but it costs nothing to treat every candidate with dignity and empathy. (even juniors! can’t believe that still needs to be said)
I now have enough experience and privilege to be picky, but I’ll always remember my first rounds, fresh out of boot camp. I still remember the ones that wasted my time and made me feel like crap, and to this day, warn friends against interviewing there.
On the other hand, I’ve had great interviewing experiences at places that didn’t pan out. Those are still on my list of places to consider interviewing with again in the future.

Interview as if your goal is to convince people to interview again, regardless of outcome 🤔
