“The Lord needs missionaries everywhere!” Yeah but we can all agree that it’s a lot more cool to be “needed” in Sweden than it is to be “needed” in Iowa. Give me a break

Not to mention most of the things employers supposedly value about returned missionaries center around their experience in a foreign place, not their experience as an evangelist

Stateside missionaries, especially English-speaking ones, get shafted big time and it’s time we acknowledge that for what it is
