revisiting some Campbell lectures and I can never not think about how badly SW managed to fuck up the Hero& #39;s Journey when so many other Disney films handle metaphor incredibly well

the best things can& #39;t be told, so we talk about them in analogy. but then some CLOD interprets the analogy as a FACT.

sex is so important in stories y& #39;all.

just a note - campbell isn& #39;t saying that sex only belongs in marriage. he& #39;s saying that sexual love (not just the act of sex) is the confirmation of marriage (alchemical union!) that is more powerful an more affirmative than marriage in front of a priest. i think it& #39;s beautiful
