I shit on Thibs a lot during/after his MIN stint.

One reason was bc I thought he misused KAT.

I don't really believe that anymore and do believe their D not improving as much as hoped is bc KAT terrible at it.

He had a solid development record in CHI (Noah, Taj, Buttlord).

He has very real flaws though wrt minutes management and not being a super creative offensive thinker.

Also unclear that he'd fix the "let's not take threes" mindset the Knicks have had for some reason.

He's not my preferred candidate, but I'm wrong abt coaches a lot.

I thought hiring Vogel was a big mistake for LAL after he struggled in ORL. They immediately improved after he left.

I was wrong.

MIN, and KAT and Wig didn't magically improve post-Thibs. Neither did CHI when he left

Thibs is risky, but he's not 100% bad like ppl seem to think
