A campus-wide vote is happening today and tomorrow. Graduate students can participate, and could be financially impacted.

The vote includes a referendum on the proposed new Wellness Center, linked in next tweet.

2/4 It is completely unclear how graduate students factor into the plans for design and access to this new space.

It is also unclear whether graduate students would be assessed the $58/semester fee being proposed in this referendum.

(esp. if policy continues of only grad students who pay an additional fee getting access to wellness facilities)...

then most @MSU_Grad_School employees will see 2 months of the new CBA gains wiped out next year.

With the information we have been given, that is our best reading of this situation.
