I’d like to give you some basic tips on surviving during chaos💛

1. “Just surviving” is absolutely fine. Drop the standards through the floor and spend the bulk of your time being kind to yourself and not necessarily “accomplishing” anything beyond the basics.
2. If you do want to accomplish more or be productive or whatever else, go very easy on yourself. Again, lower the standards and give it all the time in the world. Before, you may have been able to PUSH yourself into getting a lot done, but that life is gone at least for now💛
3. Chaos may feel familiar in a not-good way. A lot of people grow up with self-absorbed (or bad) parents and kids live in a totally chaotic world where the rules are opaque and there is usually no support in learning to survive. Now, you can learn to give yourself support💛
4. So, how do you do it? You must learn to be in silence or in alone-ness and breathe nice and easy. “Easy” is maybe the wrong word to use, because being still is quite hard. It’s a skill. It takes practice. Chaos can swirl and you can be ok💛
5. Meditation yoga, whatever helps. I’m talking about where you’re going, and it is really up to you how to get there. Google something, try something, begin a technique, but the main goal is holding kind compassionate space for yourself. Learning that right now is ENOUGH💛
