Terrible news about UC men’s soccer program. In a city were soccer is thriving and continues to grow on all levels, this is a very disappointing story to read. Don’t know all of the details but sad nonetheless.

Appreciate everyone’s perspective on this thread. There is always a reason and a “why” behind any decision. Fully comprehend the process involved. I’m just so disappointed for the current players, alumni and staff that contributed to this program.

My thoughts go out to all, because so much went into creating this. I coached against this program when I was at Xavier and NKU and had ultimate respect for UC. Lastly, I am incredibly disappointed for the young players in this city that may have dreamed about playing for UC.
