It will take at least ten years for Bernie voters to age into power within the Dem Party. And it will take at least ten years to win the offices we need to give those voters meaningful leverage in Congress & the states. None of this has much to do with the Biden-Trump campaign
We need to nurture our embryonic majority, sustaining its commitment to Medicare For All, etc, and its combativeness toward corporate Democrats. No, generational politics isn't a cure-all, but does anyone think the case for national health care will get weaker in 10 yrs?
