I’m gonna do a prefab thread

Let’s start off with the Dwell Home which is located in NC. I’m obsessed with RES4’s designs and this one sets the standard. It was the winning entry for the Dwell Home Design contest. The budget was $200,000.

Next we have the Yō no le House (Plain House) by Muji. It was designed with the elderly population of Japan in mind.

Here’s another by Muji called the Wood House. It’s the reason why I became interested in prefab designs in the first place. Look at the material.

A retirement prefab in Taiwan. What a view to wake up to.

Ikea + Car Industry teamed up to create affordable housing options for the Scandinavian community. The project is called BoKlok.

Here is another prefab coming from RES4. This one is located in West Virginia. Looks like something out a Wes Anderson film.
