Depression sucks. Particularly so in the midst of being isolated during a global pandemic. Going t h r o u g h it this morning. But I’ll get there.
I’ve got all that I could need in this time — including my meds and a great therapist doing telehealth (and insurance that will cover it). My heart goes out to those in worse situations. Truly, I hope that everyone is doing all they can to take care of themselves — and others. 💜
Got out of bed, changed, and grabbed my faves from @thewydown to go. Never been called St. Chris before, but I’ll take it. Gonna try to get some exercise in later, but this is a good start. ... Thanks for all the love. We’re all in this together, so 💖 back to all of you!
Thanks for all of the support, y’all. It means a lot. But also check in on your loved ones and make sure *they* are doing OK. Many people experiencing depression or other mental health concerns aren’t in a place to — or can’t — speak freely. Reach out. Tell them you love them.
It’s clear from the responses that I’m not alone here, that many people with mental health concerns are facing difficulties exacerbated by this moment. If you are one of those people, be honest with yourself about it — something I’m not always the best at — and with loved ones.
If you need help and don't know who to reach out to, there are many options:
