There are no new positive cases in Islamabad in last 48 hours. We have tested 300 suspected people. Lock down is working. Door to door surveillance is working. Allah has been kind. 2000 international passengers have come out of which around 37 were positive.

We quarantined positive cases and rest are home qurantined for 14 days. Shuker Alhamdolillah People have cooperated. Otherwise disease would have spread exponentially. If this discipline continues I am quite hopeful that we will win the first battle.

Our lockdowns of epicentres are working. Bara Kahu , Rimsha Coloney , Shahzad Town were sealed and disease was stopped . Taramari Chowk is sealed. We are providing food to every house there. It’s a challenge but we have to take difficult decisions to save lives.

I assure you Islamabad that we are working very hard. Health Teams have taken this as a Jihad . Please support them . Plz cooperate. Plz bear with us. Ignore our shortcomings. In sha allah Ramzan will bring good news
