Acknowledgment is important to man’s development/effectiveness in spiritual things, i.e. service or ministry.

A man will be more effective in the sharing of his faith when he acknowledges every good thing which is in him in Christ Jesus – Philemon 6.
A man is better in spiritual things when he increases in knowledge.

Hence, your attitude to increasing in knowledge must be right.

What is required of you is to have the right attitude towards receiving knowledge all of the time.
Increase in the knowledge of God produces fruitfulness – a better walk in God – Colossians 1:9-11.

There is a responsibility for the spiritual man to pay attention to spiritual things.
That is greatly possible by feeding on the right knowledge and having the right attitude to receive knowledge.

There are things in us because there are things in Christ available to mankind.
They are in us because we have believed in Christ and we are now possessors of things that are available for/to the man in Christ.

When it comes to power, knowledge is of the essence. Exceeding greatness of power has worked towards us.
In Ephesians 1:16-23, Paul prays that believers come to know it.

The power that works in us is according to the power God worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead.
To understand the power that worked towards you, you have to understand the efficiency of power in its displayed strength that God worked in Christ when God raised him from the dead.

The reference point of that power is the power that God worked in Christ.
To know the exceeding greatness of the power that works towards you, you will take a closer look at the work of redemption because that power is according to the power God worked in Christ.
Hence, understanding the events of salvation (what God did in Christ) is how you understand the power that worked towards you.

Meanwhile, you discuss power in its displayed strength because there is a work to be done.
You discuss the power in its exceeding measure because there is a task that requires that power.

God worked in Christ to raise him from the dead. For the man who believes in Christ, power works towards him (to quicken him from the dead).
When that happens, that power begins to work in him.

There is something God is loud about in redemption that you must understand.

It must inform the way you view the things he has accomplished in you.
Redemption made things available to man. It made God’s fullness available to man to use at will.

The power that is at work in us is active and effective in us and is for our use.
In coming to full recognition/comprehension of the magnitude of the power, you are able to effectively and most assuredly use the power as you should.
In our study/learning, the events of redemption paint the picture in our minds of the magnitude of the power of God to the sinner that worked towards him to save him and is at work in he that has believed.
Meanwhile, what we are endowed with is for exposure/disposal – 1Corinthians 12:7.

The beauty of what we have received in Christ is the ability to disclose/expose to view.
God brings man to a place where he is complete – where he has all that he will ever require and is able to function by his will.

The power that works effectually in us is what makes possible these diversities/abilities of the spirit.
The efficiency of the forcefulness of power in its displayed strength that was worked towards Christ and was worked in you and now works effectually in you makes it possible for you to function in all the gifts.
Your effectiveness in the practice of the things of the spirit is to the degree you acknowledge the power God wrought in the work of redemption; hence, you shouldn’t lack information about the power at work in you.
There is a responsibility that is required. Yes, power works effectually in you.

However, there is that which is necessary to be done, not to activate the power but to take advantage of/use it.

One of those things is prayer.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man discloses/exposes power – makes power available for usage – James 5:16.

There is a way to disclose the power – one of such ways is prayer.

The power at work in us will be brought to the scene in prayer.
There is effective power in us.

Meanwhile, there are things required of us to make the power available/tangible for us and others.
