(1) After considerable thought, here's my take on the perceived (in some corners) "double standard" that allows African Americans to use a term with each other that we caucasians are not allowed to use.
(2) I have two daughters, and when they were little, we used to wrestle on the living room floor. They loved it, but if a stranger had come uninvited into our home and wrestled my daughters to the ground, we would have had a major problem.
(3) I get to do things with my own people that you are not allowed to do.

Unfair? Perhaps.

But reasonable, I think.
