I keep seeing accusation that parents complaining about the challenges of being confined with their kids are self-centred and ignoring/not prioritizing their kids’ feelings. But for most of us this is our only outlet for our feelings and we’re venting so we can stay calm IRL
It’s just, like, such a weird sentiment. Our social media is ours to use to vent or commiserate as we want. We’re not showing it to our kids. Also people have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes - for every complaint, I’m there’s hours of intensive parenting happening
Anyway, parents are people who have feelings too! And they’re allowed to express those feelings! Thus ends my morning rant
