Minority ethnic older people across Scotland will get support with hot meals, grocery deliveries and regular telephone check ins.

The money will go directly to grassroots projects funded by @ScotGov to help those who are not native English speakers and may not be as mobile.
The @ethnic_network, co-ordinated by @bemis_scotland, will provide emergency grants to community organisations to provide food relief to their members, individuals and families.

Support for Gypsy/Travellers during the coronavirus outbreak will include:

• A ‘health box’ for households to meet a variety of essential health needs during the crisis
• Tailored financial advice for those whose work has been impacted
• Telephone-based counselling
