Why the need for the secrecy and absolutely last-minute announcement every single time? This is not a grand Scooby Doo ‘lol your currency’s obsolete’ reveal. People need time and information to plan, to feel secure.
Would *you* want to be stuck in a labour camp in a brutal city where no one gives a damn how you live or if you die and you've got 1 day of food left and no savings? You'd take the 1st train out too, virus be damned. If we don't plan+provide for that- be it info/aid, we've failed
