Just sharing my experience with #ZoomApp here: Don’t use it.

One Chinese played porn and forced us to cancel meeting.

Before few days, I was part of an online meeting. In same meeting, IAS officers were also part and some serious issues were being discussed. (1/n)

Then suddenly Chinese users came in between with video call. Few started racist slurs like “Indians are niggers” and “Stop shitting on roads”.

They also chocked up chats with these slurs. Organiser wasn’t able to remove them.

And, one started screen-sharing on call.

Then streaming of porn started on the screen.

You know it’s awkward as well embarrassing. But it was happening and organiser wasn’t even able to remove them.

Many users left meeting. Damage was already done and meeting was indefinitely postponed. (3/n)

So, just a piece of advice: don’t use #Zoom when meeting is serious and professional.

IDK about experience of others but this happened with me. I am sure this must have happened with many.
