THREAD: COVID-19 response chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. gives updates on the latest efforts being undertaken to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Galvez says the national government has turned over the Ninoy Aquino Stadium to the city of Manila and the Armed Forces of the Philippines for its management as a quarantine facility.

Galvez: Nakita natin na ang US at ang European countries ay minaliit ang epekto ng COVID-19. Ngayon sila ay nags-suffer ng consequences. 'Wag po natin hayaan na tayo ay matulad po sa ganitong sitwasyon.
