As a proud, lifelong stan of One Direction, I have been EXTREMELY lucky to stan one of the greatest boy bands ever created. However, I have always known that their was a possibly that another group could eventually come along in the future and surpass my favs.
With all of the excitement going on about the possibility of One Direction reuniting, there has been a certain fandom who has been very vocal about their displeasure of that idea. Why, you may ask? Jealousy, insecurity about their own group, anger, all of the above? Who knows?
Also, now many of them are suddenly claiming that their group has supposedly "surpassed" One Direction and have had more of an impact than them. They can't explain when, where, how or why but apparently their group both surpassed and out impacted just because they said so.
Well, if that's the case then I would like to explore that idea just to see if those fans are correct. So, here's a thread. Let's see which group TRULY reigns supreme at the end of the day.

Ok, that should be enough for the moment but if I need to make a Part 2 to this thread I definitely will. Personally, I think I got the gist of most of the main comparable areas with actual facts, data & numbers rather than whiny opinions like certain others.
So, in conclusion, according to the data, it doesn't appear that bts has "surpassed" 1D in any sense of the word. If I missed anything please feel free to correct me with FACTS but please know that if you come trolling you will be blocked immediately. #1DConcertOnlineStayAtHome
