#WritingCommunity - I need your help! What tense would you prefer a YA romance novel written in?

When I have asked previously more people swayed towards third and first could come across as more juvenile or too ‘YA’.

I’ve done a little searching about and I haven’t found anything (of my taste, anyway) in third. If you do know of any, please drop me some links!
