The latest sleazy attack on front line staff trying to keep their morale up, and patients alive, in the face of danger. 'TikTok judging'. Apparently if medical stff don't shut up, stay scared, and get infected quietly, they're just whingeing millenials?
Let's explore this idea of morale raising being indulgence, shall we! "These British soldiers on the front line in Afghanistan are obviously soooo on active service, they barely have time to perform an extended comic video"
Oh and this guy! Supposedly injured in the South Pacific theatre. Apparently still has time for a visit and a few jokes by Bob hope...
and what about these people sheltering in the Blitz? Apparently they're so "overwhelmed" they've got time for a concert.... and even photos of handstands!
You get the idea. If med staff want to use those precious few minutes of spare time to make funny videos, run around in fancy dress, or record themselves farting the national anthem, I personally don't care. It chases fear, bonds teams, and brings a smile. It's courage at rest. x
