1. Timeline: On January 31, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the current outbreak a "Public Health Emergency of International Concern"

2. To support China’s ongoing response to the outbreak, Canada has deployed approximately 16 tonnes of personal protective equipment, such as clothing, face shields, masks, goggles and gloves to the country since February 4, 2020.

3. China’s economy is much larger than Canada’s, with far greater manufacturing capacity to make medical equipment and more money to purchase what they cannot make.

4. February 2 - US banned all "foreign nationals" who have travelled to China from entering US. US citizens who had travelled to China will be on forced quarantine. This move probably saved many US lives despite it becoming a political issue rather than a humanitarian issue in US

5. The dates are very important for me, US imposes travel restrictions and Canada sends humanitarian assistance (whatever little it had) without realising the impeding danger. WHY?

6. WHO misguided the whole world about the impeding danger and this is CRIMINAL act endangering millions of human lives and destroying world economy which will have its own consequences soon for all to bear.

7. The crisis has also exposed the BIG HOLES in the way developed nations have been managing their health care all along. Outsourcing manufacturing completely to China for profit in books has made most of world lazy to put it mildly & lost many critical skills along the way

8. One important lesson for all is to keep our silly political mind to ourselves in times of crisis, focus on real issues, come up with positive ideas and solutions instead of grabbing the opportunity to score political points or furthering our ideology. END
