Industry body Scottish Care told me today that the concerns are not "rubbish". At least one firm is still explicitly saying it won't supply to Scotland's care homes. Scottish Care chief exec Donald Macaskill (diplomatically) said: “Jason is not privy to all the facts." https://twitter.com/BBCScotlandNews/status/1249972423237218304
Scottish Care want Scot Gov to lobby UK Gov to put pressure on English suppliers to say they should supply to Scotland too. But Scot Gov deny this is a problem.
Scottish Tories are now rolling in behind Scottish Government and also rubbishing concerns that PPE sales to Scottish care homes are being restricted by some English suppliers, in arrangement with Public Health England. The claims obviously don't reflect well on UK Gov.
England-based PPE supplier Gompels say Public Health England have told them to supply to England only. Awaiting a response from Public Health England.
