Today was our hardest day yet. Everybody in the family struggled. We tried so hard to go into school and work there but it just wasn’t happening. We are at week 7 of virtual teaching and I’ve hit a large wall. I’d love some cheesy jokes right or GIFs now. #COVID2019 #eLearning

The good news is I talked honestly to my students during class about how I was feeling and the struggles we were facing. Like almost all young people I teach, they were incredibly empathetic and supportive. It was the highlight of a tough day. #whyiteach #elearning #COVID19

Thank you everyone. This thread has made me feel so much better and exceeded all my expectations. I am lucky to have my Twitter group of awesome educators. Also I did not anticipate that cheesy jokes with me literal cheese but I’m here for it :-)
