The Good Samaritan con is when one attacks a mark and another comes to the rescue making a emotional bond. The mark’s loyalty to the rescuer is then exploited for some gain. Washington has been playing that con for decades. Either Trump is stopping the con or finishing it. Pray!

Go examine the extreme power afforded the president under emergency declarations. Now consider that every single state has signed on to this particular emergency declaration. When he said that his authority is absolute, he wasn’t exaggerating. His emergency powers are extreme.

I am encourage that he is being so careful to defer to the states and the team. He mentioned constitutional concerns several times yesterday to explain his hesitation to act but just moments later said that he could legally if he chose to. He was right both times.

Imagine what would be going on now if BO or HRC were in his shoes right now. Never let a crisis go to waste. At this moment, Trump has nearly unlimited legal authority but he appears to be answering to a moral authority. He is leading instead of ruling.

If he wields this power and then turns it back over to the people, he will absolutely be the greatest president of all times. It’s like when Vision picked up Thor’s hammer or Quill held the infinity stone. He can do what aspiring tyrants have dreamed of and he isn’t doing it.

Please pray. There are many who face the test of adversity and pass but very, very few face the test of such power and authority and pass. Please, please pray for him. He’s doing well but he’s still a man. Pray for him.
