Many seem to have wilfully misunderstood my comments on the leaked Labour report. My question is simply this: even if I’m charitable to your version, even if I accept everything in the report as gospel, whose job was it to stop all of that going on, after four years at the helm?

To help you answer the question, tell me this: If the equivalent shitshow were going on in the Tory Party from now until 2024, would you still be saying “Leave poor Johnson alone, it’s not his fault, he’s trying his best, but is bullied by factions”? Did you say that about May?
