This pandemic should be a good time for the government to introduce a robust internal revenue generation system. This simply means, a robust financial database for every citizen

The only reason why we are called a developing country is because we cannot entirely account for the finances of every citizen in Nigeria. Once the government is able to create this system, there will be a direct financial overview of every citizen’s income

This way, you can set tax bands for each individual to determine those who will need to pay more taxes.
This way the government can generate internal revenue with ease.
All the Billionaires in the East will pay heavy taxes.
