The tech companies are making a lot more profit as we all use technology more in the crisis. In 2018, Apple paid £3.8 million tax on £1.2 billion sales, Google £44m on £1.6b, Amazon £14m on £2.4b & Facebook £28m on £1.6b sales. Now they’re asking for a delay in the imposition of

the new 2% sales tax “because of the crisis”! It’ll raise £440m a year; they should be volunteering to give even more to the NHS. Who do they think they are; Premiership footballers?!
