. @bbc5live doing phone in on care homes. This lady is talking about her dad dying in a care home. Nicky Campbell asked her to talk about his life to stop him being a statistic.

- I wouldn& #39;t have thought I& #39;m the kind of person to change emotionally from hearing "my dad in a care home" to the biography of a hard working special human - as she just said, "he& #39;s not even a statistic, his death hasn& #39;t been counted". From head chef at The Savoy to nothing.

- but it& #39;s too easy to see care homes as places full of anonymous "old people" just waiting to die among staff below minimum wage- the media narrative about them has mainly been how awful they can be- shock docs. Campbell& #39;s instinct to humanise this is bang on & very upsetting.
I understand many of you will have relatives in care homes- I never have had, my mum was terrified of them, but died at 60. It& #39;s such a hard decision to put your parent into care - everyone I know has done it riddled with guilt. How punished will they feel now?
There& #39;s also something about a man who ran the kitchens for the ruling classes, being thrown in some anonymous "and others" hand wave by those he literally used to sweat to please- that grates hugely.
