Trying to articulate my biggest problem with a lot of other leftists today is the absolute REFUSAL to consider the possibility of *unintended consequences*. What makes someone a good or a bad person to you is up to you to to decide for yourself, but will the material consequences
that you want to bring about by political action going to disproportionately impact certain groups of people more than others? Why is that? Could it be because discrimination will seep into everything despite enforced pretend belief? As unpopular as it is to say it, actually
thinking things through insofar as they will impact real living people in all the spectrum of their humanity is as important as ideology and moral integrity in our intentions. Sorry, but we can’t actually just guillotine 93% of society lmao. Dunno what to tell you.
This is both vehement in wording yet maddeningly vague as fuck to anyone but me, I know, but I can’t write 10 more long-ass tweets giving concrete examples and shit right now, it’s 1 am. This is where I come to think out loud. I don’t expect anyone still reading it to be psychic.
God the first tweet in this thread is total word salad lmao, you know I’m serving up a hot take when my syntax just goes out the window. Having terrible insomnia this week. Burn on my arm still throbbing.
