Me & my bf decide like 20 minutes ago to go up to the rest of the property we live on .. and we were looking at some plants & we started hearing a sound ... like a metal ding almost like a bell but it had a rhythm to it ....

I heard it before he did and it sounded super faint and far away ... and eventually I asked him “hey do you hear that “ and he said “yeah but it sounds far just ignore it “ and as he said that the ding sounds like it’s getting closer ! Mind you we live on a 2 acre property

In the middle of canyon country , it’s all equestrian properties and every house is stupid separate from each other . So there’s no possible way that at 12:30 at night there’s just a person making these noises . Even if they were we wouldn’t be able to hear , houses are distanced

So after my bf told me to ignore it , I pointed my flashlight up towards the hill on the property that leads to a little gazebo ... and I don’t see anything & suddenly the ding got louder ... same rhythm ... same sound only getting closer ... and I literally felt like

Something that I wasn’t capable of seeing was coming down that hill ... whole time I’m pointing my flash light I can’t see anything but IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE IS WALKING DOWN THE HILL DINGING THE BELL

I looked at my boyfriend and I was like “dude it’s getting louder it sounds like it’s coming at us “ and my boyfriend looked at me and he was like “nah let’s go “ and my boyfriend starts running & I’m like fuck that ... I’m fucking running too !!!

My boyfriend said he still heard the ding as he was running ... I totally tuned it out because I was getting really bad feelings from it ... I haven’t been genuinely that scared in fucking years ... but it just felt so unsafe and like something was about to come at us
