Many of the clubs who have spoken about needing clarity of what league they’ll be in now fail to acknowledge we are in April and if football had continued as normal they would be involved in relegation battle completely unaware of the outcome yet.

The Forfar chairman spoke about it not being about money, but then spoke about how having Patrick Thistle and Falkirk in League 1 would bring circa £75k to the club. They’re currently in the relegation playoff spot.

Pay the money to the clubs and buy time to make better plans on how to finish the season. Behind closed doors? Or if not possible then reconstruction is fairest route to ending the season. Teams top of the table are champions but we avoid teams being punished at the bottom
