My question then becomes would that failed unit have further repercussions for students who are on scholarship and/or TELS?
O ask because these students are not only bound by USP SOPs but also by the conditions of their scholarships/loans.

Also the fact that this may disproportionately affect students from lower income families:
1) assignments require research. Digicel and Vodafone are only providing free access to moodle. How are students going to do research if they don’t have full internet or library access?

2) the free access to moodle only works on the assumption that the students have access to a modem or a smartphone—which isn’t always the case. It also does not address the need for students to access other websites to do research to complete assignments.
