Visiting someone& #39;s island is like visiting their home; treat it, and them, with respect! Please be kind to your host and other visitors, especially if they& #39;re doing you a favour.
If you& #39;ve been invited to an island for a specific reason, that is the ONLY thing you have permission to do there. ALWAYS ask before doing something else! Here& #39;s a handy flow chart to help you figure out if you can or can& #39;t do the thing:
When you see the "looks like someone is arriving/leaving" banner, IMMEDIATELY close any open windows or conversations. If you don& #39;t, you are preventing others from coming or going, and it& #39;s super rude. Let& #39;s try and make everyone& #39;s island experience fun and hassle free!
Limited items can only be bought from the store once that day, so ALWAYS ask before you buy it!
Treat your hosts island with respect, don& #39;t just drop items and trash you don& #39;t want/need all over the place. It& #39;s like a national park; leave it how you found it. Unless you& #39;re invited to wander around, just get what you came for and head home.
