I will never endorse @JoeBiden, but if I must, I will work with him.

If Joe is the one to battle Trump, so be it. @BernieSanders is dealing with the pandemic and did what he did. I am a Social Dem, progressive in every nature, and solid in my beliefs. I spent 10+ hours a day documenting him for a year. Trust me, he has not betrayed us. 2/

Id say Im slightly to the left of @BernieSanders, but as a former conservative I‘ll always have that perspective. I know that every bit of our platform is fiscally responsible and globally imperative. I also know that even with Bernie out for now, we still need to get it done. 3/

So with our options literally being between abstaining, third party, write in, Trump, or Biden, know that the majority of non-tweeting America won’t vote 3rd party for the same reason we now have Biden. I’m a #MeToo survivor, but the thought of 30 years of GOP SC scares me. 4/

Im in California so abstaining is *probably* safe, but if I had to, Id only vote for @JoeBiden if I knew FOR CERTAIN that there was a direct seat at the table for We The People. I will do it remembering that dark night in my childhood, knowing that OUR voice has power. #MeToo 5/

Listen, I dont like Joe. You can tell me about all he’s done, but I don’t like him. I trust Tara, I think of Anita, I think about all the lives his decisions have hurt. But I will work with Joe. I will not shake hands with him, but I will help him defeat Trump & pass #M4A/ #GND 6/

Im not “just the photographer.” Im the guy who was there to document ev-er-y-thing. I’m not policy or comms, I’m the fly the wall. Ive documented meetings with every kind of American you can imagine, and I can tell you with honesty that @BernieSanders is there for them. 7/

Bernie didnt turn his back on us, nor did he sell us out. He is being strategic, leveraging some shallow but deserved appreciation from Karen, so that when it comes to bargaining time, he has power. If winning is the goal, @JoeBiden knows he cannot win without us. He needs us. 8/

Figure out a way to earn our trust, @JoeBiden. We’re probably never going to like you, many of us will NEVER vote for you, but most of us are waiting for you give us a reason to save you. Ill look at you in the eye and say “Im here for them, so don’t cross me” as we defeat Trump.
