๐Ÿ‘‰In 1902, he passed from elementary school in Satara & joined for Higher education. In 1904, his father was transferred to #Bombay.
Ambedkar was then enrolled in #Elphinstone_High_School, Bombay for Matriculation, being the first "untouchable" to achieve so.

He went to the Princely state of #Baroda (Vadodara, Gujarat) to take up an administrative service in that state.
๐Ÿ‘‰In 1913, the #Baroda_State_Scholarship of ยฃ11.50 (British Pound-Sterling) per month for three years was established by #Maharaja_Sayajirao_Gaekwad_III, the
progressive ruler of Baroda. By this scheme, the Maharaja granted promising students to study in #ColumbiaUniversity (U.S.A) with financial assistance from his Government. Ambedkar was selected for this scholarship.
