Tonight I held the hand of a man as he died from #COVID19 and his family said their goodbyes over #Zoom. A complete stranger to the man was the one holding his hand in the end. This isn't how life is supposed to be. Enough is enough. STAY THE FUCK HOME PEOPLE.
Just because YOU don't see it affecting YOUR life doesn't mean YOU don't have a role to play. Continuing to go out in public unprotected and unnecessarily is what is allowing this virus to spread. You could be the reason someone is dying. Yes YOU.
Going out in public, gathering in large groups, YOU'RE what is spreading this virus. "They're working on a vaccine" a vaccine that takes 18 months to test and produce.
Look at how many lives were lost in just 4 months. 18 months from now this WILL be affecting YOU. And you're going to wish you would have stayed home.
So if you don't stay home today for yourself. Then stay home tomorrow for your grandpa, mother, sister. Stay home for them because the way things are going this isn't going to lighten up without you doing your part.
Do your part, because I guarantee when you're having to say your final goodbye to your family member over Zoom, as a stranger is the one holding their hand, you're going to wish you would have listened.
