I wrote this brief thread about the sleep cycle.

It is very important to understand that you need to sleep through the two phases.

Let's take an example of a carpenter preparing to make a table.

This is the NREM phase.

NREM smoothens your brain pathways as it carries packets of information between one part of the brain to the next.

NREM stores and strengthens the raw ingredients of new facts and skills.

Then the Carpenter will begin doing final touches on the table.

Applying varnish and paint.

Adding attractive accessories in order to attract customers.

This is the REM phase.

The REM phase is the integration phase.

It connects the raw ingredients created by NREM.

This interconnection models your accurate world, innovation and soft skills.

It is during REM that we dream.
