1 - I need to make this rather long thread. There have been SO many questions re: how I ended up so quickly with SO many followers. PLEASE read this & you'll know from my mouth what happened. This needs to be set straight once & for all.

2 - Here's the TRUE story and believe me, I was in shock: 2 days ago, I had my regular old 302 followers that I adored. We all kept up. Then, I decided I wanted them to know how much I appreciated them and so made a tiny tweet about it. Normally, very few ppl ever saw my tweets

3 - because of my low followers count. I didn't care. But as soon as I made that tweet, someone else I don't know saw it, retweeted it all over the place, and new followers were pouring in. I was shocked, flabbergasted, & thought something must be wrong with my acct.

4 - I even rebooted thinking something had gone wrong. By the end of 24 hours I was up to almost 9000 followers. I thought I was going to seriously faint. I'm very old school & had said I was going to thank each person but noooo, that couldn't be done as the numbers increased,

5 - so I made another tweet thanking them all. Now I'm STILL trying to catch up with 'following back', but to vet and follow over 9000 --- it will take longer than I have to live. Doing my best, but this is incredibly hard. NOW you know the real, true story.

6 - I never asked, never expected. I was as shocked as those watching it happen. Still am. (End of thread, TY for reading)
