Final rant about knockoff game.
Ever since this quarantine stuff started, my mind hasnt been in the right place, so I thought that reliving my older days, playing Pokémon, would help. I've been shiny hunting and all, but I thought, why not relive gen 3 as well? I lost my (1/?)
sapphire copy a couple of years ago, dont know how, because I kept it super close to me at all times. Anyways, I played that game, and Black 2, during times that I would rather not re-experience. (Black 2 was also lost a while ago, so maybe I can get that back too). So I (2/?)
went to ebay, and fully aware of fake copies, I searched hard for any listings that seemed legit. At the time, none popped up with any authenticity. Except one. It showed all of the angles of the cartridge and everything, all of the stuff that points to it being legit. So (3/?)
I ended up buying it after about a week of waiting (bank reasons). Not only did it arrive way later than said, but it was a fake copy, as seen earlier. It honestly ( I dont mean to be dramatic but) broke my heart a little bit. This was probably my last opportunity for a (4/?)
while that I'd be able to buy anything. If it werent for this virus, I would've taken to the swap meets within a heartbeat. I have and always will trust those products (games wise) that they give out. However, I can't. They're closed, obviously. And if I were to ask people (5/?)
that I know near me, that potentially have these games, they would have to decline, which is understandable. Although I would love somebody to just drop off a couple of games and take the 20 bucks I left in the mail box for them, it's just not realistic. And you might be (6/?)
thinking "why are you so obsessed with getting these games back?" Well I'm a Pokémon fan, if you couldn't tell. Not the controversial kind or anything, I don't care bout that stuff. I just like playing the games. It's weird, but in pretty much every bad event I've been (7/?)
through, Pokémon's helped me somewhat cope, and escape from reality temporarily. I think I need it more than ever. In fact, I think we all need to escape from here for a while. Do what you enjoy doing, and maybe you'll feel better, because it's a hell of a lot better than (8/?)
sitting around, moping all day. And I've been guilty of that as of late. I hope I can make time to be somewhat productive in these times, and I'll always be able to make time to do what I like. And I hope you can too. I think that writing this thread has helped me relax a (9/?)
bit from my disappointment in that clone game. Eventually I'll get an actual copy, but I'll make do with what I've got for now. Anyways, if you've read this far, then I hope that you're finding things to do in these times, and I hope that you and your loved ones stay safe (10/11)
