I want to share some beautiful acts of kindness I'm seeing in #TheBigKindnessCount

#TheBigKindnessCount Alex says "Some people in our neighbourhood chalked an "obstacle course" on the footpath. Now, people walking around the block for their exercise are prompted to do jumping jacks, play hopscotch, meow like a cat, and smile!"

#TheBigKindnessCount Lyana wrote "My mum is currently in Malaysia ,the thing that she misses about Auckland the most (besides me!) is her Zumba family. Since the lockdown started, I've been able to help her join their online Zoom & she's able to dance from afar" 


#TheBigKindnessCount Ginny told us "We're in a steep street. some houses can't be seen from the footpath making the bear hunt a bit more challenging. One of the neighbours put a bear selection on their car dashboard, in the carport, which is at street level. Love it" 


#TheBigKindnessCount the @Asylum_Trust_nz told us about one of their volunteers who does shopping for two single mums who have just had babies & are unable to get to the shops. 




For #TheBigKindnessCount the @aunties_the managed to reach 40 women & 90 kids with an AMAZING 39 volunteers doing shopping & dropping groceries to women in lockdown

In #TheBigKindnessCount Blooming Hill Flowers have delivered over $15,000 worth of flowers to thank health care workers as the flowers would otherwise be wasted
