(2/4)Patients need to understand,your doctor usually isn't trying to get in your business, they are just trying to maintain proper documentation. If you are being treated for anything that requires a DEA number, they have to ask certain questions.
(3/4)When I worked at a gas station, I didn't want to ask an 80 year old man for I.D. to buy beer, I had to because it was the guidelines my company put in place. If you test positive for weed it opens up extra questions doctors have to ask.
(4/4)My goal in this thread is to create a bridge between doctors and patients. #communication is key. There's a lot of reasons some patients aren't forthcoming. If they understand why the doctor is going through these questions, they are less likely to get upset. #PatientAdvocacy
