Interesting side note. It's becoming increasingly familiar as a theme that the "coaching left" are the bigger voices on social media platforms and carry factual beliefs through unchallenged academic research.

Here's an alternative take on many of the common 'policed topics'. https://twitter.com/GauchosARG/status/1249851229028716545
One of the more frustrating experiences are those that like to label everyone outside of your beliefs as "extreme right-wing" as far as coaching practices go

I'd like to consider myself as open-minded to points of view...more and more often we are ridiculed for being so
Where there lies a vast amount of unchallenged academic research on how we should coach/someone should learn - I'd be very cautious of diving into schools of thought with both feet, especially those where belief holders ridicule everyone else.
The opposite of the following set of approaches is not "wrong" and should not be ridiculed - everything has a deeper context and cannot be assessed through the snapshot offered to you on social media.
The same phenomena seems to exist around "possession" and "direct play". One is pitched as the choice of the wrong and the other the choice of the right. One is football's left-wing and the other considered football's right-wing.

Context is everything. Always.
