my absolute favorite thing about clown twitter is that richie, who has bad eyes and body hair and a tummy and is gay and living with mental illness and addiction and a thousand other things, is just a deeply, deeply loved character

and it's joyful and hopeful to see people writing/drawing/talking about a character with all these different traits that ostensibly make him hard to love with such unbridled affection in their hearts! and to see him so beloved textually and metatextually

anyways I love richie and I love seeing people love on him, and I love that loving him and the "bad" parts of his body and mind lets me love the "bad" parts of my own body and mind a little bit more
