Here we go! Artist/youtuber AU part 2

I've actually done more planning this time so I can give more explicit tags: friendsheith, eventual #sheith, ada/shi, break-up, non-consensual outing, invasion of privacy, homophobia (I'll let yall know when the warnings come into play)

Things generally go back to normal after the repost incident, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say a "new" normal.

Keith's audience has grown as a side-effect of his contact with Shiro, which takes some getting used to. Eventually though things settle down; the people who followed him in hopes of more Drama quietly unfollow, and those who are genuinely interested in his content stick around.

Shiro and Keith keep talking occasionally, and it's easy enough to forget that Shiro is a semi-famous internet personality when he sends Keith cute cat videos and funny dog memes.

Shiro often retweets and comments on Keith's art whenever he posts a new piece;

Keith's stomach does a funny little flip every time and a smile comes unbidden to his face

Keith still watches Shiro's streams to help him fall asleep, though he never tells Shiro this. He does become a bit more active in the chat though, often popping in to say a quick hello.

Shiro always makes sure to give him a quick shout-out when he notices Keith's presence.

The first time Shiro shows up in the chat of one of Keith's streams it nearly causes an incident as people excitedly go off about how The shirogamer is here! in their midst!

Keith's brain takes a whole minute to reboot (it's a good thing he doesn't show his face during his streams), and by the time he's accessed his higher brain functions again Shiro has already gently but firmly chided the chat into focusing on Keith again.

("I didn't come here to stream-bomb Keith, I just want to hang out and watch him work like the rest of you because I like what he does")

((That comment nearly puts Keith.exe offline again. Shiro likes what he does? Enough to spend his time watching Keith's stream??))

Keith finally manages to squeak out a greeting to Shiro and thank him for stopping by, and after a couple false starts manages to get back on track with the piece he's currently working on.

When Keith eventually ends the stream he has 2 new messages in his inbox:

one from Hunk and one from Shiro.

Hunk's says simply "so, Shiro huh" and an obscene amount of eyeball emojis (Keith ignores him)

Shiro's is an apology for showing up like that out of the blue, and for causing a disturbance and turning the attention away from Keith.

Keith smiles as he brings his legs up to curl into his chair.

-it's ok don't worry about it. I was kinda surprised to see you tbh but not in a bad way

~Thank you, though I still feel bad. I had fun, your stream has a nice chill vibe

-lol thank you, you're not the first person to say that

They chat back and forth for a while longer, until Shiro says he has to go record his next video right away if he has any hope of getting it to his editor on time.

After that Shiro is a semi-regular sight in Keith's stream chat, to the point that his viewers get used to his presence and hardly make a fuss about it anymore.

During the weeks and months of their acquaintance they've gotten comfortable enough with each other, so when Shiro one day asks Keith if he can commission a few pieces from him Keith handles it so smoothly he pats himself on the back.
